The Here and Now

The sky is heavy with a coat
Of thick cotton,
The sun tries to pry through
But the sky seems more grey
Than blue.
I sip my coffee blissfully
Because I know there is nowhere
In this world
I would ever be more protected
Than in the here and now
For this moment is perfected
But in another minute
The sky could come crashing down.
