Chapter 1

“Are you ready? It’s time to go!” shouted mum.

“I’m coming, I’m coming!” huffed Angela, running down the stairs with her pink, spotty luggage.

Angela, sometimes called Angie for short, was a sixteen year old girl. Her straight auburn hair complimented her heart-shaped face and beautiful blue eyes.

Angie and her family were going on holiday. They were quite an adventurous family and so they decided to go to the rain forest in hope of exploring it and learning new stuff.

“There you are! Come on let’s… now where did your father go?” shouted mum exasperated

“I forgot my passport! Coming!” he replied from the kitchen, as calm as a cucumber.

Finally everyone was out of the house. Now it was time to go to the airport.

Angie’s father started off the engine and he soon was driving past many trees, animals and many other different aspects of nature.

“I’m so excited! I’ve only been on a plane twice,” said Angie, standing on the end of her seat.

Her mum replied,” I’m positive that you will have an amazing time. Look, we’re already have way there!”

In about half an hour they found themselves at the airport. It was very spacious. People were rushing to and fro with luggages and passports. Angie felt a spark of excitement enlarge inside of her. She realized that this was the day on which she would escape from her hometown for a few days to explore a completely different environment.
